WIP: Py3 Upgrades

Found pyupgrade that apparently does automagic modernizing to py3 and wanted to try it out.

It didn't seem to catch many percent-based formatting strings, but besides that it looks quite good. (WIP because I didn't actually look at the diff closely yet)
