Preserve built code when switching discretizations

There could be a mechanism that preserves wrangler code containers (... ugh... name...) from one discretization to the next. This would specifically help convergence tests. Alternatively, we could take the standpoint that caching is good enough. @mattwala, do you think this is worth it?
